In memory of Shumba, animals make a wish...
Shumba's story is in the heart of all the lions in Africa,
he is the symbol of their suffering.
Chris Mercer tell Shumba's story to man , so that they too know their sufferings.
For them, Chris launched the Global March for the lions, to prohibit the canned huntings and bone lion trafficking in all the world. Over 60 cities made the march worlwilde this March 15,2014.
All lions spoke only of that across Africa.
One of them spoke to the others.
" And if we also did a March...
a march that will travel around the world ...
I would go from home in South Africa and I would stop wherever people accept to receive me and listen to me .
I tell them about our dream, of a better world for us,
a world in which we will be respected and loved,
a world in which there would be no cruel hunting ,
no traffic of trophies, bones, ivory, horn, ... a world in which we would be respected as much as we respect human ."
"I would go from town to town,
from country to country ,
I would see the poor as the rich,
celebrities like strangers,
children as adults,
I'll go wherever people will agree to listen,
wherever I could talk about our dream, so that together we can make it happen.
And if on that long road, other animals want to join me to unite their voices with mine, they are welcome.
Chris began this quest, we must help him to continue it ...
So, I would go from home here in South Africa and would finish my travel in returning home."
So my travel will begin the 27 of April date of the freedom day for finich in december 2016,
During all this time I hope meet a lot of people and see beautiful countries.
I would not be alone for this challenge, celebrities will help me so that everyone remembers my trip
